ILLiad Renewals
From your ILLiad account, access the record of the item you wish to renew. If "Renew Request" is not visible at the top of the request, then renewals are not allowed.
Click on "Renew Request" to submit your request. You will be given a temporary due date until the lender responds to the request. You will be notified via email once a response is received.

Welcome to the Mulva Interlibrary Loan department
Interlibrary Loan (ILL) is a service by which The Mulva Interlibrary Loan department obtains research materials not available in The Mulva Library.
Current students, faculty and staff are eligible to use ILL. Alumni and community members should visit their local public library for service.
Books, chapters, articles and other materials not available in The Mulva Library may be requested through ILL. Reasonable fees associated with obtaining the material are paid by the library. Textbooks may not be requested through ILL.
ILLiad (InterLibrary Loan internet accessible database) is the resource sharing management software used by The Mulva Library. The ILLiad system allows you to track your requests, check due dates, renew items, etc.. You will need to fill out a one-time registration form to set up your account. All ILL requests must be submitted through your ILLiad account.

How do I request a book through Interlibrary Loan?
To request the loan of a book not owned by The Mulva Library, complete the electronic request available through ILLIAD**. Books requested must not be currently available through The Mulva Library. Please checked the SNC CATALOG before submitting any interlibrary loan request.
How do I request a journal article through Interlibrary Loan?
You can obtain copies of articles from journals not owned by The Mulva Library by filling out the photocopy request form available through ILLIAD**. Requested articles must be from journals not currently available through The Mulva Library, or not available electronically through The Mulva Library's electronic journals or accessible databases. Before submitting a request, search the SNC CATALOG*** and check the A TO Z JOURNAL SEARCH*** to see if the article is available electronically through The Mulva Library
How long do I have to wait for the material to get here?
You generally should expect most (not all) photocopies to arrive within 5-7 business days (Monday-Friday). Books should arrive within 14 business days.
How will you notify me when my material is ready to be picked up?
Our preferred method is to send an e-mail to your SNC e-mail account notifying you that your material has arrived and also when it is available for pick-up.
What if I forget my password?
During registration you are required to enter a password hint. The password hint may help you recall your password later. Attempting to log on with an incorrect password or with the password field left blank will cause your hint to be displayed. In the event that you are unable to recall your password, please do not attempt to register a second time; contact Interlibrary Loan to have your password reset. You may stop by in person, call 920-403-3283, or send an email to ill@snc.edu. ILL office hours are Monday-Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm. ILL can then reset your password allowing you access to ILLiad. Please remember to change your password once you log on to ILLiad.
Why don't I see all my older requests when I look at my request history?
From time to time we purge older requests from ILLiad. Our policy is to keep requests online for several years in order to comply with recordkeeping requirements of the law.
What is Electronic Delivery?
Many libraries ship photocopies of articles to us in electronic format, you will receive an e-mail indicating how to obtain your article. Your article will be available to you for 30 days ONLY.

Patrons should allow 1 week for copy requests and 2 weeks for loans.
